Hollister provided construction management services for Grand Street Development on the ground up construction of a 72,000sf, eight-story, 71-unit residential and 11,000sf retail building, known as The Brooklyn Grand. An existing 16,000sf, 1 story retail store was demolished in order to construct the new structure. Made up of a concrete super structure, The Brooklyn Grand opened in the spring of 2016.

The Brooklyn Grand’s façade emulates 20th century Brooklyn architecture, while its interior is modern classic. The ground floor features retail space and a lobby welcoming residents and visitors entering the building. The lobby is uniquely finished with a feature wall made up of reclaimed lumber. The second to eight floors are all residential units, providing one and two bedroom apartments. The apartment units feature floor to ceiling windows and are equipped with the latest in high-end appliances. On the rooftop, residents are able to enjoy various amenities including a yoga garden and barbeque pits. It also provides residents with a parking garage, electric vehicle chargers and bicycle parking. The residential building also provides 17 low income housing units.
